This week the children went to visit the St Francis church in Meir Heath and City Central mosque in Shelton to conclude our topic on Arabian Nights.

The children set a fantastic example and represented Meir Heath Academy beautifully. Both the priest from the church and the Imam from the mosque commented on how wonderful and mature the children were, as well as inquisitive!

The children had prepared lots of interesting questions and talked about the similarities and differences between the two religions. They had a tour of both buildings and discussed the different features within each.

The children showed respect, humility and as teachers, we could not be more proud of them. Well done Year Three!
