This week, the new school council (Y3, Y4, Y5) for 2017-2018 had the opportunity to prepare a speech or presentation to say why they should be picked for the 2017-2018 St Bart’s Pupil Parliament, where they will represent Meir Heath Academy within the trust. Once all of the children had said why they should be picked, the new Y6 school council voted for the two children who they thought deserved this opportunity the most. We were very impressed with how organised, confident, brave and articulate all of the children were but only two could be picked…

A big well done to both Lauren Mason (y3) and Carly Triner (y4) – you are our new pupil parliamentarians!

We think you will represent Meir Heath Academy beautifully within our meetings and we look forward to hearing about your visits around all of the schools within the trust.
