A message to all families at St. Bart’s Schools

Dear Parent / Carer

I am writing to you all to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for all you are doing to support your children and school during the Covid 19 crisis. I know for many of you this has been a real struggle and you have my heartfelt thanks and admiration for how you have responded in these uncertain times. Having kept in close touch with the Principals of our schools I am aware of the many amazing things our schools, teachers and support staff have been doing on a daily basis to support you and your children, not least with those experiencing particular hardships. Please be assured that we will continue to do all we can for as long as it takes. I am proud of how our schools have responded during this crisis, in keeping open for our most vulnerable and for the children of key workers and in the rapid development and provision of on-line learning and home learning packs for those who are at home.

We have achieved so much already in the face of adversity and I know that many of you will be wondering what the future will bring as the government considers an easing of the lockdown restrictions. Please be assured that we at St. Bart’s will maintain our strong focus on the safety and well-being of your children as we plan for future provision, whatever that may look like. I know that I can count on your continued support as we seek to meet the challenges that lie ahead. Together, we as a St. Bart’s family of, school, parents and children, will continue to exemplify all that is good about our education system and our country. Thank you once again for all you are doing and for all you have already sacrificed. Our thoughts and warmest best wishes are with you all.
